Operating from a Judeo-Christian ethic and ethos, we exist to amplify the efforts of vetted humanitarian projects of the highest efficiency and measurable, loving impact on the world.

Through unique models of deploying assets, with the expectation of a measurable economic and social return on investment, we are empowering long-term change, and facilitating it.

Via proper vetting and funding mechanisms, supportive education, and other resources required, we are strategically advancing the success of partnered projects, and initiatives. Our business focus is on enhancing the familiar principle of Return on Investment (ROI) with a measurable metric of Return on Love (ROL)®.

Return on love (ROL)®

Imagine being able to measure the collective impact of the love that our combined efforts are extending across the Earth. What was impossible a short time ago, is entirely possible in our hyper-connected, digital age.

Through real-time analytics, and data from the field, we will utilize constant connectivity to monitor each supported project, and receive consistent updates on the real lives which those projects are impacting around the world. All essentially in real-time.

From another young girl being bought out of sex slavery and returned home, to the homeless veteran who trades in his last worn, cardboard sign in exchange for real help, and real hope for a future.

From the opulent drug addict, suicidal with more than he can spend, to the infant dying on the sands of the Sahara alone. Love will find them. Love will reach them. Love will do what only love can do.

METRICS

PAY LOVE FORWARD

Through alignment with like-minded businesses, we generate funding mechanisms which are of benefit to our mission and our partners. These tax beneficial business models allow us to Pay Love Forward, while providing strategic resource to those in need. Measuring the impact of supported projects as if we were measuring the financial performance of a business.

The results of these projects are measured as Return on Love (ROL)® metrics, and provided to our socially conscious businesses partners to help tell the story. These metrics will also be shared via social platforms, apps and faith communities, connecting existing social arenas to our supported humanitarian projects.

By bringing people of passionate interest together around specifics causes, and the lives of the people who are being measurably changed as a result, we and our partners are committed to Pay Love Forward.

FUNDING

FUNDING MODELS

We provide funding via traditional and innovative mechanisms which fall within the guidelines of U.S. tax-exempt organizations as defined by current IRS code. Social Impact Funding is made available through familiar giving vehicles such as gifts, grants or endowments, primarily to vetted, proven projects and organizations of high impact on the world.

Other funding vehicles are considered on a case-by-case basis, once a determination of project viability and business purposes which align with our mission have been confirmed. We reserve the right to reject funding requests for any project which we deem to fall outside the scope of our current focus or guidelines. Within these criteria, however, the following funding models are deployed:

Projects

SOCIAL IMPACT GIVING PROJECTS

Guided by our values, we rely upon Scripture as our directive, especially regarding generosity as an expression of love. Matt 26:11a states: “The poor you will always have with you.” Accordingly, a percentage of foundation assets are dedicated to bringing hope to the perpetually poor. This is accomplished by supporting vetted, efficient organizations who are on the front lines, bringing love to some of the world's most painful realities.

Isaiah 58:6-12 explains what it looks like to “extend their souls to the poor“ for the sake of love. This passage is our Cornerstone Scripture:

10. "Feed the hungry, and help those in trouble. Then your light will shine out from the darkness, and the darkness around you will be as bright as noon."

Through love, we will illuminate the darkest places, shining like midday.

Please be aware that the majority of our Social Impact Funding is made to U.S. tax-exempt organizations which have a proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding our vetting standards. Although your project may appear to fall within one of these arenas, that area of funding may not currently be accepting unsolicited proposals.

John Mandeville has enjoyed a credentialed career as a musician, entrepreneur and minister. Over his two decades of blending entertainment and ministry platforms to inspire millions with hope for a better world, his creative works have appeared worldwide in media outlets including: CBS Television, Sony Distribution, Christianity Today, Hollywood Jesus, Christian Broadcast Network, Focus On The Family, Salem Radio Network, ABC Family, Tyndale House, The Dove Awards, Moody Broadcasting, and Billboard Magazine.

Over the course of his career, John has leveraged his successes to the benefit of those around him, paying it forward by investing in the lives of others. This desire inspired the formation of his own award-winning label I.P.O. Records in 2009, and Artist Map Entertainment in 2011, which led to appearances on The Voice, American Idol and America’s Got Talent by artists under his direction.

As a speaker and pastor, John has been honored to minister in a variety of church settings in the U.S. and abroad, serving alongside men of God such as Tony Dungy, Nathan Whitaker, Michael Flaherty, Lou Engle, John Bevere and Reinhard Bonnke.

A self-described “champion of the underdog”, John Mandeville has thrived on a career path which has bridged industry and ministry for over fifteen years. This diverse journey of artistic, entrepreneurial and pastoral life has provided him a unique perspective and experience when it comes to his current career chapter.

At the helm of The Funding Foundation, and the Pay Love Forward movement, Mr. Mandeville is uniquely equipped, sincerely passionate about leaving a legacy impact on a world in need of love and hope. Through the convergence of his professional toolkit and network toward this mission, it’s clear that the best days are ahead.

Kenneth R. Roney

Kenneth R. Roney is the President of the Christian Network Foundation. Prior to serving in his present position, he served as the Executive Vice President for the Foundation and has assisted Stewardship Development Ministries, Nazarene Theological Seminary, and various mission partnerships, such as the Jesus Film Harvest Partners and compassionate ministries. Over the years he has helped individuals make lifetime ministry gifts and legacy gifts by working with individuals with estate planning. He has partnered with, churches, educational institutions and parachurch ministries who are building support through planned and deferred giving programs. He currently serves The Funding Foundation in an Advisory Board capacity.

Ken has practiced law since 1980. Over the years his practice has evolved from a general civil practice to one dealing almost exclusively with wills, trusts, estate planning, charitable gifting and dispute resolution. In addition to practicing law, he has served as a mediator and an arbitrator and has been a trainer of mediators in private industry, state agencies, and courses approved by the Supreme Courts of Florida, Indiana, Tennessee, and California. He graduated with high honors from the University of Florida (B.A.) and from Shepard Broad College of Law (J.D.) and is admitted to practice before the state courts in Florida, Colorado, Kansas and various federal courts.

He has served as an adjunct professor with Mid-America Nazarene University and Indiana Wesleyan University, teaching courses in grant writing and business law. Over the years he has been an active layman in his church and he has been a member of Gideons International.

Ken and his wife, Patsy, reside in the Denver metro area.

Douglas Dell

Doug joined KeyBank in 2004 where he has held positions of increasing responsibility before relocating to Colorado in 2013 to lead Key’s Commercial Banking Group. His group of Commercial Bankers achieved a number 1 ranking in the KeyBank national footprint in 2017, completing a turnaround from a number 26 ranking before his arrival. Prior to his move to Colorado, Dell served as Senior Relationship Manager in KeyBank’s Commercial Market banking segment, serving corporate clients with revenues of $20 million to $500 million. He currently serves The Funding Foundation in an Advisory Board capacity.

Dell has more than 30 years of experience in banking and financial services, plus experience in industry as the CFO of several middle market manufacturing companies. Prior to joining Key, Dell held executive level financial services positions with Bank One; Precision Machine Co.; Delaware Machinery & Tool Co.; and most recently Goelzer Investment Banking.

Dell has an undergraduate degree from DePauw University and an MBA in accounting and finance from Indiana University. He is a licensed Certified Public Accountant and Accredited in Business Valuation by the AICPA (both currently inactive). Dell is an active member of the community, currently serving on the boards of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Colorado (Board Vice-Chair), and Junior Achievement-Rocky Mountain Inc. He is a member of the Mile High United Way’s Tocqueville Society, the ESOP Association and the National Center for Employee Ownership.

Doug and his wife Miriam have two college-age boys, one attending the University of Colorado Boulder, and one the Colorado School of Mines. He enjoys hiking, golf, major league baseball, and serves as a guitarist in his church worship band.

Cuyler Jones

Cuyler is an autodidact, polyglot technologist with extensive experience in high performance, large scale, service infrastructure, distributed computing infrastructure and data services. Highly skilled in cloud and distributed computing and storage solutions, as well as programming languages and tooling. He currently serves The Funding Foundation in an Advisory Board capacity.

Specialties: Multi-platform/multi-tenant technology strategies, software architecture, team leadership and engineering, cloud computing and high performance scalable software, big data and data pipelining, financial services software solutions and infrastructure development.

In the Applied Machine Learning group at Apple, Cuyler focused energies on various classes of problems, generally related to Distributed Computing, Scalability or Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning.

As Lead Architect and CTO of Commerce at IP Commerce, Cuyler was responsible for the architecture, design and implementation of multiple platform initiatives, including platform infrastructure, platform extensions and API services for IP Commerce.

Jones was responsible for the strategy, architecture and implementation of platform services and interfaces( SOAP and REST) that scaled to more than a billion dollars in transaction volume, with a better than three 9s SLA and thousands of concurrent consumers.

Jones also developed internal code generation tools, inference engine and remotely embeddable payment solutions.

He also guided the technology and strategy behind the Commerce Cloud Service capabilities built for the industry-leading IP Commerce Platform.

Mr. Jones possesses a wide spectrum of experience in many other roles during the course of his career, and is widely regarded as a leader in software, systems and team development.
